Nokia 3310 (2017): sales in Germany will start on May 26th

Now it is finally decided when the Nokia 3310 (2017) is available here. From May 26th the mobile phone will be available for 59.90 euros in Germany.

Originally the Nokia 3310 (2017) was presumed a price of just under 50 euros. The retro mobile phone has become somewhat more expensive with 59.90 euros. The Nokia 3310 could be pre-ordered for a long time, officially the sale in Germany starts however only 26 May, according to an official press release of the manufacturer.

Compared to the Nokia 3310 from the year 2000 without camera, the mobile phone this time offers a 2-megapixel camera. As in the original, an Internet connection is waived. Telephoning and sending SMS is however possible.

No WhatsApp with the Nokia 3310

No internet connection, therefore also no WhatsApp. In addition, the OS Series 30+ is not compatible with this application. According to the licensing partner HMD Global holds the battery for a long time. Supposedly, 51 hours of MP3 playback, 39 hours of radio listening and 22 hours of talk time are possible.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) is operated from a keyboard with numerical keyboard and newly placed buttons. According to HMD Global, the gaming classic “Snake” will also be on board again. The Revival phone has a monochrome display, a 2.4-inch color display, and a micro USB port. The internal memory can be expanded to 32 gigabytes using an SD card. The mobile phone is slimmer and lighter than the original and still recognizable by the classic Nokia ringtone.
