In 2016, Google rewarded the best apps available on its online store during the Google Play Awards event. The initiative will also be held this year with the aim of giving developers greater visibility and of course increasing the number of downloads. Big G has today presented the list of 60 finalist software subdivided into 12 categories that will receive the app Oscars. During the selection, as stated in the official announcement circulated by Google, the Mountain View team has taken into account several factors including popularity, quality of service offered, and frequency of upgrades.
The 12 categories you think of Google are:
– Best app created by independent developers
– Best app created by a startup
– Best app for wearable devices
– Best TV experience
– Better virtual reality experience
– Better experience of increased reality
– Best app for kids
– Best multiplayer game
– Best Absolute Game
– Best app absolutely
– Better accessibility app
– Best app for social impact
Among the selected apps, there are quite famous software such as Pokémon Go and other lesser known ones who point to the prize just to gain visibility. The winning apps will be announced at the Google I / O 2017, an event during which the new Pixel 2, Android O and a renewed Home Server release will be unveiled.
