At its annual Accelerate Partner Forum event, Lenovo announced the IBM Spectrum Scale (DSS-G), a scalable software-defined storage solution (SDS) solution. Designed to support dense and modular storage of files and objects in demanding high-performance environments that make data intensive, Lenovo DSS-G enables customers to handle exponential data growth and the need to store huge amounts of information Structured and unstructured.

The deployment of storage solutions for HPC environments, artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and cloud – all of the major technological trends that are deeply reshaping the look of the data center – now impose significant workload on IT resources. Simplified scalability: to start with a simple system and easily increase performance and capabilities through a modular approach
Innovative RAID: With IBM Spectrum Sclused Declustered RAID, it reduces up to eight times the overhead of the rebuild procedures
Choice of high speed networks: with options that include Infiniband or Ethernet up to 100Gbps

The new Lenovo DSS-G solution is complemented by Lenovo Scalable Infrastructure (LeSI). LeSI leverages decades of experience and leadership in engineering to reduce deployment complexity and provide an integrated and fully supported solution that alongside the best components in the industry with optimized design. This allows maximum system availability and rapid detection of the underlying causes of problems while using the system.
