Google Taimen with the platform Snapdragon 835 made itself felt in Geekbench

It is expected that this year Google will introduce three new smartphones. Two of them will be the second generation of premium Pixel devices and received the code names Walleye (Pixel 2) and Muskie (Pixel XL 2). The third of the debutants will not belong to the Pixel family, but will be positioned as a large screen with a large screen. It received the code name Taimen and in the benchmark Geekbench were found “traces” of his stay.

Based on the information of the synthetic test, the basis of Google Taimen is the eight-core platform Snapdragon 835, running at 1.9 GHz. The prototype received 4 GB of RAM and runs a new version of the Android O operating system. As a result of the run in the single-core test, the device scored 1804 points, and in the multi-core test – 6248 points.

There is no doubt that, as in the case with the first generation, the production of Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will deal with Taiwanese company HTC. Lately there have been rumors that in 2018 Pixel-backgrounds will go off the assembly line LG, but representatives of the South Korean giant have denied this information, calling them only rumors. It is assumed that the premiere of all three gadgets should take place in October this year.
