Oppo R11 can be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 660 and premiere in the summer

The Chinese conglomerate Oppo is preparing for the debut of its flagship Oppo R11, which has more than once managed to become a hero of all sorts of rumors and leaks. There is little information about the technical characteristics of the novelty, but there is no doubt that it will join the ranks of devices on the market with a dual rear camera. Initially, the smartphone was promised to Snapdragon 835, and later it was announced that it will be built on Snapdragon 660. Today, Pan Jiutang analyst confirmed the appearance of this chip model in Oppo R11 and said that it will be the first mobile phone with it on board and its premiere will take place in the summer.

Earlier rumors pointed out that the honor to debut with Snapdragon 660 was Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 or Mi Max 2 or Vivo X9S Plus. But the analyst claims that it Oppo will open a galaxy of smartphones with the new 8-nuclear platform Qualcomm, and all other manufacturers have to postpone the premiere of their products until the end of the summer or autumn of this year. Again, the “stumbling block” was the top Snapdragon 835, the production of which is in the chipmaker’s priorities. Recall that tomorrow in Beijing, there will be a presentation of Snapdragon 660, and we will learn more about the flagship among the mid-level processors. As for the Oppo R11, it can come with a 5.5-inch display, 4/64 GB of memory, Android 7.1.1 Nougat and a fast 20-watt VOOC charging.
