This afternoon will launch a new special Pokémon GO event dedicated to grass-type Pokémon, which until May 8th will be more common in the game, especially in wild habitats. The opportunity is therefore to increase the number of Pokémon of this kind in the Pokédex and to make it evolve faster than the ones already present.
Meanwhile Niantic developer of Pokémon GO is collaborating with John S. and James L. Knight Foundation for a project that will take off this weekend in Charlotte North Carolina. Graie to a series of agreements with the city authorities players will be able to follow some predetermined paths that will bring them to meet new PokéStop and Gyms in areas normally open to traffic but will be closed and made available only to pedestrians for a limited period of time.
Once again, Niantic confirms the social vein of its titles, Ingress and Pokémon GO, which try to bring players out of the house, meet new people, and stay in the midst of people. For the time being, the project is in an experimental stage, but it is not said that, if successful, it is destined to remain confined to the US.
